Dancing Ledge

This is a recommended stop on the South West coastal path. The area is renowned for dramatic cliffs and spots perfect for natural swimming. This is also a safe spot because the swimming can take place in the natural swimming pool cut in to the rock. Be aware that access to this area is steep, so children or those who struggle with access will not always enjoy this location.

Chapman's Pool

Chapman's pool is a remote and peaceful beach that has a very, lost in nature feel to it. It is a shingle beach, and is accessible by excursion from the main South West coastal path. It is well worth the journey, a perfect spot to relax, picnic, and fossil hunt.

Kimmeridge Bay

A favourite beach for snorkelling and rock pooling that can be found slightly further to the west. This is amazing for nature lovers, as it's part of the marine nature reserve. It offers something for enthusiasts, and families whishing to expose their children to the natural beauty of this coastline.
